Silent Hill still remains one of the most influential titles in the horror genre and it seems its influences are still shining through today as newer titles are taking inspiration from this iconic classic. Upcoming title Wronged Us takes cues from Silent Hill, although it is unclear what this means for the games mechanics as of yet.
There has not been a great deal of details revealed about the games storyline, although the developer has taken to YouTube to upload a short clip giving a snippet of insight into the game.
There’s not a lot you can deduce from a twenty second clips, but the clip shows a man looking up a hill towards a couple who are holding hands. On closer inspection it appears that the couple are headless. Towards the end, one of them starts to move towards the man before the teaser ends.
The game is being developed by a small team on the Unreal Engine 5, the go to for indie games like this one. There is no concrete release date in sight, although we can expect the game to release sometime in 2022.
