A recent announcement has revealed Animal Crossing: New Horizons first ever paid DLC that will give players the ability to take their interior designs to the next level.
The DLC takes cues from Happy Home Designer, a game for the Nintendo 3DS released back in 2015. The game was a spinoff to the main Animal Crossing series which focused mainly on home design, cutting many other game mechanics like fishing and bug catching.
Players will be able to access their new game features by choosing the ‘Go to work’ option located inside of the island airport. Here they will be able to take on the role of an interior designer and resort planner, tasked with helping residents locate their perfect holiday home. Each of the characters will have specific requirements to fill for their dream homes.

Once a player has chosen a spot for the new home they will then be able to start decorating and adding furniture making sure they meet the requirements of the new home owners. A whole new realm of design options have been added including partition walls, pillars and even the ability to adjust the size of rooms.
Happy Home Paradise will be available to purchase this November and will set you back £22.49 or with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack for £39.99. Pre-orders go live on October 29.
