More details about the upcoming GTA Trilogy have leaked online giving some information about what enhancements we can expect to see compared to the original games.
A new post on the GTA Forums by a user named alloc80r has brought to light a Rockstar support article suggesting that the GTA Trilogy will have increased draw distances, GTA V style controls and a lot more.
“Three iconic cities, three epic stories. Play the genre-defining classics of the original Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas updated for a new generation, now with across-the-board enhancements including brilliant new lighting and environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures, increased draw distances, Grand Theft Auto V-style controls and targeting, and much more, bringing these beloved worlds to life with all new levels of detail.”
A report that leaked earlier this year also claimed the same, with the game allegedly using the Unreal Engine it will include a mix of “new and old graphics.”
Nothing has been confirmed by Rockstar just yet, the link to the support page has been removed by Rockstar and is no longer accessible. October 22 will be the 20th anniversary of GTA 3 so we could see more information around that time.
