The next major update for Minecraft has been announced, it will be called The Wild, and will focus on the game’s wilderness and biomes. While some fans are still waiting for the second part of the Caves & Cliffs update, others are turning their attention to all of the new content coming with The Wild update.
The Wild will bring with it a load of new features to make the games wilderness feel even more alive, new items including boats with chests in them and a brand new biome Deep Dark.

Frogs and Tadpoles are also being added to swamps.

A new biome called the Deep Dark is being added which brings a new mob called The Warden, a blind mob which senses players through vibrations, you’ll also find plenty of chests to loot in this new area.
